Home / Tornado Flusing System
Tornado flush, also known as cyclone flush, is an advanced toilet flushing technology that utilizes strong, precisely angled water jets to generate a powerful 360-degree swirling motion for exceptional cleaning and efficient waste removal using less water. This high-performance system ensures complete bowl coverage, minimizing stain buildup, inhibiting germ growth, and reducing the need for frequent manual cleaning compared to conventional toilets.
Step - 1
You press the flush lever/button. The flush valve opens and the cistern releases a controlled burst of water.
Step - 2
A portion (or the majority) of the released water is forced through one or more small, precisely sized nozzles located in the bowl (usually near the front). These nozzles are designed to produce a high-velocity jet.
Step - 3
The nozzle(s) direct water tangentially along the inner curve of the bowl (not straight down). That tangential entry is what gives the flow angular momentum — the water wants to travel around the bowl rather than just fall straight.
Step - 4
Because the bowl geometry and nozzle aim cause the water to hug the walls, the inflow quickly becomes a rotating sheet or ring of water — essentially a small vortex (the “tornado”). The rotation is continuous while the jets are supplying enough flow.
Step - 5
The fast-moving rotating water creates strong shear forces against the ceramic surface. That shearing dislodges residue and loosens stains across the full 360° of the bowl as the water sweeps every area.
Step - 6
Once the flow reaches the outlet, the burst of water (now carrying the waste) moves through the trapway and into the drain. The bowl empties efficiently because the swirl concentrates the cleaning and transport energy.
Step - 7
As the cistern finishes emptying and jet flow decreases, air re-enters the flow path and the vortex breaks down. The strong rotating motion stops and the remaining water drains.
Step - 8
The tank refill valve restores the cistern water level and a small refill flow restores the bowl’s water level. The toilet returns to its ready state.
